This group meets the second and fourth Tuesday afternoons, and includes some for whom work allows for an afternoon group. Recently we have studied the book of Philippians, using Nicky Gumbel’s book ‘A Life Worth Living’ as a guide and we have looked at the ‘I am’ sayings of Jesus. We have also used an interesting DVD series from the London School of Theology, called ‘Christian life and the Bible’, suggesting different ways of studying God’s word.
Our group has its serious moments but also has a lot of fun and laughter, meetings include outings to garden Centres, choosing church Christmas trees and organising various events. We are here to learn from God, to support each other and gain strength to live out our Christian lives at work and at home.
